THE BOOKENDS OF LIFE

by michael on January 7, 2011

I was watching a Dennis Prager video on YouTube. He said that it is unethical to ask a store employee the price of something when you have no intention of buying the item. It is deceptive and dishonest. Customers have rights, but they also have duties. Rights and duties are the bookends of life We are entitled to assert our autonomy, but to no greater degree than we are obligated to respect the autonomy of others.

Will discuss in detail tomorrow
